Robert S. Manoff is CEO and Co-Founder of Jambo Media, LLC. With his
experience and industry contacts, he heads the Sales and Business
Development segments of Jambo Media. Since 2004, he has managed
partnerships with many technology and media leaders to utilize Jambo
Media's products in order to grow their online presence. Manoff
co-founded Jambo Media with partner Todd Houck.
Prior to starting Jambo Media, Manoff co-founded Realcast Media, LLC,
with Houck in 2003. Realcast Media is an online advertising publisher
network representing over 1,000 web sites and delivering hundreds of
millions of monthly advertising impressions.
Manoff began his career in 1998 as a television research analyst at
Seltel, a division of Katz Media (a Chancellor Media company). There he
worked with television network affiliate stations nationwide such as
UPN, WB and Fox stations.
After leaving Seltel, Manoff began working at L90, which was later
known as Max Online and is now owned by Interactive Corp (IAC). At L90,
he was selected as the 2000 "Newcomer of the Year" and achieved high
levels of success as an Account Executive.
In late 2001, Robert left L90 to start up Elite Street, LLC. Currently
Elite Street provides hundreds of advertisers, including many Fortune
500 clients, with high end marketing programs that include video,
targeting and branding.
With more than 10 years of television and interactive media experience,
Manoff is now CEO of three successful internet businesses.
Todd E. Houck is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Jambo Media, which was formed in 2004 with CEO Robert S. Manoff. Houck is the lead architect of Jambo Media's advertising platforms. He is also the developer of Jambocast, a video platform that powers both JamboTV.com and the Jambo Video Network.
Todd began his career in 1995 with Jones Intercable as the programmer and director of a local sports talk show. He used the experience to move to the Showboat Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City as a Marketing Representative. His inside knowledge of the industry led to his first start-up business, CasinoHosts.com, which was a lead generation service for the casino industry.
Todd began to learn the affiliate marketing side of the business with Standard Internet. Now being versed in several areas including affiliate marketing, lead generation and internet advertising, he joined forces with Manoff to form Realcast Media, LLC, in 2003 and eventually Jambo Media.
Todd continued his innovative development style by creating an RSS platform (XMLheadlines.com), a new contextual advertising platform (realTEXTads), the Jambo Video Platform (JamboTV and Jambo Video Network), as well as several other web properties.
Kenisa Polanco is the Director of Operations at Jambo Media, where she plays a key role in organizing and servicing the Jambo Media advertisers and the Jambo Video Network publishers.
Kenisa joined the company in January of 2004 after spending seven years in the financial industry at Eagle Capital Partners - a hedge fund. During her tenure at Eagle Capital, she served as an Administrative and Technical Assistant, helping to keep the company organized and assisting in its daily functions.
She holds a BS degree in Computer Science from St. John's University in New York.
Jason M. Hewes joined Jambo Media in 2008 and is currently the Director of Technology. He was brought on for his extensive knowledge and experience of the core technologies being used by Jambo Media. Currently, Jason oversees all of the software development of the flash player and backend infrastructure.
Jason began his career as a software developer at DirectResponse Technologies primarily working in the affiliate marketing industry. Before leaving, he was the lead architect and the manager of the software development team.
Jason holds a BS degree in Applied Computer Science from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.
Albert J. Shermer III joined Jambo Media in 2005 and is currently the Director of Publisher Services. He was brought on board because of his extensive sales and management experience. Albert has handled many aspects in both the sales and business development areas. Currently, he oversees all aspects of the Jambo Video Network, bringing together publishers, content producers and Fortune 500 advertisers.
Albert began his career in the mortgage industry, and quickly moved to corporate sales. While working for Cendant/PHH, he was in charge of adding corporate clients to the program and relocating employees for those Fortune 500 companies. Before leaving the industry, he was named Director and managed a highly profitable sales force.
Albert holds a BS degree in Accounting from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
Derrick E Curry joined Jambo Media, LLC in August of 2008 and currently serves as the Director of Product Development. Derrick was brought on for his vast knowledge of development and integration between our core front-end technology, Flash, and a variety of backend systems. Currently Derrick oversees all Flash based software development utilized in our video technologies and front-end design.
Derrick began his career in 2000 as an Interactive Designer for Park City Solutions’ in their Cleveland, OH office. While at Park City Solution, Derrick designed and produced web applications for client such as BF Goodrich, Cerner Corporation, and the US Department of Defense.
After leaving Park City Solutions Derrick joined the development team at TechOne Media, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA. Shortly after beginning his tenure with TechOne, he was quickly promoted to the position of Lead Developer where he helped change the company’s core focus of providing interactive marketing and advertising services to offering online web applications for the banking industry. In the four years he was with TechOne, Derrick worked with clients such as Federated Investors, Huntington Bank and The Bank of New York.
Wanting to diversify his skill set even further, Derrick left TechOne Media in May of 2005 and accepted the position of Sr. .NET Developer for Communifax, Inc., a full service advertising and marketing agency in Cranberry, PA. While at Communifax Derrick worked on national advertising programs for ESPN, Verizon, Disney’s High School Musical, the Dallas Cowboys and the 50th Annual Grammy Awards.
Derrick is a 2000 graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and holds an Associate Degree in Multimedia Design.
